Re: How many miles (average) do BMWs last?

I just turned over 200K. The motor/tranny is solid, I'm just going throught the painstaking task of replacing all the bushings...

Re: How many miles (average) do BMWs last?

hello! I just bought a 2002 bmw 325i with a little over 186,000 miles. I got it from a friend of a friend. I test drove it it seems good. the check brake pads light is on and it needs a tune up. if I fix these small issues would I have 2-3 years with the obvious fixins once in awhile? also he said it stalls out sometimes when at a stop. it was $2000 and came with a pair of winter tires on the rim. I thought it was a good deal and so did a couple guy friends. just want to make sure. it was well maintained over the years and the body and interior is in very good condition. any input would be great seeing as how I am a female and not really familiar with cars. thanks
