Re: The 3 Diablos

muffler were bored so that it looks more realistic.

Today I changed my cutting mat, RM5 only, from Daisho Sunway Pyramid

Fujimi's Diablo have a bit fitting problem on the font, the chassis can't fit firmly to the body and resulted the front looks "raised". When I hold tight with my fingers it looks just nice, so finding a way to "tighten" it will solve the problem.

It's been a while I discover the problem but does not have a solution until 2 days ago, I remove the front gearbox cover, drill a hole and use a screw to tighten the chassis to the internal parts that secured to the body, done!!

The end result.

Now both the Diablo "lowered"

Re: The 3 Diablos

Scratch building the rear diffuser

begin with the center mounting

stage 2, I'll be using aftermarket muffler this time

done but not satisfied, looks bit weird to me.... T_T

the left is the result after adding another layer but still look strange, so i did some changes. (the right part)

Final result.

From side view, the rear seems to be bit too low, need to raise a bit, the rear diffuser are bit too thick, I think I shall trim it a bit.

Re: The 3 Diablos

added the "mustage" for the front bumper

sprayed with white primer as it will be this will be a bright green Bull. unfortunately I still found some areas that need to touch up... and time running out.

I re-design the rear light cover and the body

cant find any suitable green in the market so I mix my own, tested on silver and white surfaces, the white base looks promising as I predicted.

Re: The 3 Diablos

the PE have a part that should be round and attached to the body, the shape is hard to replicate with PE, so I cut it and replace with a round sprue.

Dry fit before painting

hexagon PE mesh from ICW
