Vulcan Starter Problem
Purchased a 95 Vulcan 1500 with only 9000 miles on it. Runs great, but every once in a while, when I hit the starter button, it just clicks. I can wait 5 minutes and it turns right over and runs. Have replaced the battery and tried jumping the solenoid, with same results. Do I need to change the starter and if so how hard is it to do? Thanks, Bryce

Re: Vulcan Starter Problem
Any chance of having a loose wire/connection somewhere? I'd look for something small like that before you work on replacing the starter. It could be that your starter is tired or even has a "bad spot", but I like free fixes when I can help it.
