2008 Hyundai Accent, sometimes when the keys is turned on to start it the check engine light does not come on and the fuel pump does not work, try cycling the key a few times and the light comes on and the pump works, then the car starts. it has started getting worse at not coming on, recently on a cold day (near 20 degrees over night) it would not come on and refused to start the next morning. have heard that one person had a shorted wire on the fire wall, also have heard that some people have had issues with the fuel pump and it has caused this issue. had it scanned and it showed an ECU error. I am wondering if it is a short or maybe the computer is going out. has anybody else encountered a problem like this and if so what did you find?
