Dodge Grand Caravan Problems
Basicly I have a problem that I am hoping someone can help me solve. The problem is this, when I hit a bump, I hear a Scraping sound driving straight, not turning, although I also hear the scraping sound while turning slightly and hitting a bump, But the car isn't bottoming out and hitting the plastic. I was leading toward a CV joint problem, but it don't seem logical, because cv joints generally make knocking noises in turns, not scraping, I had the sway bar links changed as well as both struts with new mount kits, so it can't possibly be that, however whats left as far as possible problems I don't know, if someone has encountered something simular to this, could you help me figure this problem out? thanks for all of your time for those who read this message.

Check your fender liners and tire clearance. Look for a polished mark on the liners. If that not it...keep looking, scraping usually leaves visible marks. Put it on a lift if necessary.
I think you are right about the cv joints. jimmymc |
