2014 Dodge Charger Front Suspension Help
Hello Everyone,
I need help! About a month ago I was traveling on the freeway with cruise control set at 70 on my way home, when something in the front driver side wheel snapped and caused me to lose control and crash into the median wall. Long story short, I was stuck in the carpool lane with tons of traffic coming, and the highway patrol had me drive to the shoulder. (Prior to driving to the shoulder, the front driver wheel was almost right next to my door). While driving to the shoulder the tired ripped something else off, and was laying completely flat on the ground. While being loaded onto the tow truck the whole tire assembly was ripped off. Dodge is claiming that the accident was caused by my "misuse.abuse" of the vehicle. However it was only 4months old a the time with about 6,000 miles, and I took damn good care of that car. The estimated damage was $13,000. Its a 2014 Dodge Charger SE. 6,000 mi. I really don't want to take the care back, because I don't feel safe. |

Re: 2014 Dodge Charger Front Suspension Help
This is some crazy story, what failed exactly and how did the dealer determine what happened and how it was driver abuse, lots of questions un- answered here, how could we possibly comment on this based on the info provided! An insurance adjuster looked at the car, what was there determination in the report?

We need to know what failed to provide any input. Nothing should have failed that catastrophically on such a new car unless the vehicle has been modified or wrecked.
