About pricing my 1976 442 Cutlass
Thinking about selling off a bunch of stuff I'd planned on restoring.
I'm going through a nasty ass divorce and I just need to get rid of a lot of stuff ASAP. Stats are as follows; '76 Olds 442 SJ model, 350 Olds motor(not a rocket) auto trans with full ralley gauge package. White with red trim, white interior(rough), swivle buckets, console shifter, factory ralley rims. Newly rebuilt trans 1995, stopped driving it it 97' because it was only getting 12-14mpg. kinda... rusty. Has new tie rods ends, new center link and pitman arms, rebuild power steering gear box and seals. Needs starter and power steering hoses. Here are a few pics, not the best in know. lol So basicly, Im asking for this particular 442 $500 firm! Do you guys think that's to high ? I know it can be restored for around $5-7K and would be worth around $20-25K. Just trying to get an idea on what these older cars are bringing these days. Thanks for any input or opinions !!!

Also about selling my 1966 Dynamic 88
Yeah I like Olds !
This one is rusty and rough, has a rusted frame in rear which dropped the rear control arm. Not worth restoring IMO, but the 425 Rocket w/125,000 miles is whats almost priceless to me. I hate to part with it, as its been in my family since 1965 and was well maintained. Asking, or would like to get around $1000. The motor is worth at least that IMO. Or is that to high ?? Here are a couple pics of it and motor. So any opinions or comments are welcome. Again just rying to get an idea from a large group of auto enthusiasts what its worth. Im just not to up to date on what older autos and engine are bringing in these days. Thanks in advance!!

Don't think you will get that much for that motor, looks like it has been sitting for years. You should try and get it running before you offer it for sale.
just my 2 cents |
