Re: N.E.S. Rallye Porsche 911 POKER!!!!
Wow, Gio has dug out the 911s! Is this the first time they've been unboxed since I was in your shop?
I like the new roll cage.

Re: N.E.S. Rallye Porsche 911 POKER!!!!
Thanks mate!
have a look at this magic! At naked eye it is impossible to see the porsche logo on the caliper! BTW the caliper is 3D designed and 3Dprinted glued to PE disc faces etched at home: A little test with Tamiya tyres, too big! I founda solution mounting R43 Stratos tyres, but I didn't shot yet Time to discover one other issue: S27 decal set is inaccurate.... wrong rally plates, wrong lettering.... wrong instructions.... incredible but I was able to strip decals with tape under 20+ layers of clear (TS13) and 4+years of drying well bad news and now good news: we have light enough to quit the tunnel!!!!

Re: N.E.S. Rallye Porsche 911 POKER!!!!
Thanks a lot guys! I appreciated a lot the support!
We was at the point that I stripped down the old S27 decals, almost all the set was removed, the clearcoat edge carefully sanded down (no clear under the decals since I used gloss TS colors....so care care care.... to avoid to expose white and primer under...), and I used the Reinassaince decal set: I found the decals thin, quick and conformable, verrrrrry nice product Etienne! The wheel set up wouldn't be great until I glue the shell on the chassis, but before I have to do so much..... still much to do! Well time to add a couple to the poker's table! First one is the Nick Busseni/Bassi Porsche SC tuned by those awesome factory named Orlando Ridolfi: following the real car http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...RSCHE_16_1.jpg livery it is awesome to me, sponsored by a famous '80 drink, Nick Busseni was an amazing privat pilot too: able several time to badly beat official factory's drivers on gears like 911SC, 037 and Ferrari 308 as well an awesome 914GT As a base I used the master of the 911Tk I tried to produce years ago like you see I glued all rubber trims, I'll mask and spray after the finishing, I wanted to try this different way this time Following the decal set I designed years ago, and printed by ALPSservice The second poker contender is the Boss Barth Kussmaul SC, ever from my Tk as a base, I used one of the worst clones I got from the worst casting service in the world, but with sometouch it turned out decent: some TK's shortcut like the side "skirts" was created/fixed, and the body carefully reshaped around (wheel set up is incorrect in this case as well in the Busseni SC: body is different than the Esso and I this this last one is better than the Esso attempt) Like you see rubber trims are still to do in this one but it is growing up faster than my herbal garden's tomatoes over these holidays!!!! last but not least... the Rothmans SCRS: i haven't done so much but the way is downhill this time: I used the tamiya Turbo body shell, reshaped, over the 934 RSR chassis: still much to do on bumpers, sideskirts, spoilers but I'm happy to have a decent racing base for the interiors... to convert a street Fujimi chassis is not easy or fun... not so much! Thanks to your kind support! Ciao

Super cooll! Your builds are always magnificent, and they end up so clean I often forget how much work you put into them! Just amazing re-engineering of the kit!

HI Gio
great work, I can`t wait to see the finished models, I had the same idea with the SC/RS, the transkit is finally available with the Carrera rear wing http://www.scaleproduction.de/produc...-0-1984.html&= Mike |

Updates, my preferred field: mechanical detailing: like ever you'll see almost nothing then so I show you those magnificent kugelfisher and related links
Like you see its baseball cap cover almost all And even less in visible trough the trunk (body shell not yet polished) Like ever over the developing of the build my desks get busy busy and busy until the usual free working 2 by 2 inches

The engine looks excellent. Where did you get the photo etch bits for the engine?
