Jsb88 : You do prefer a Skyline to an XK8 ?? I don't ! It's surely fun to drive but, to me it has no charm.
To me (I have a priori on these cars, I know ) Japanese cars are banal, classic, not exciting, contrarly to Italian, French, German or English cars (of course there are exceptions on both parts).

Crayzayjay : The 147 GTA (I read an auto-try) is the best on the category for this journal. And maybe on of the best current Alfa Romeos. The Golf R32 is less sportly, though it's an excellet car.

The R32 has yet to be tested over here. I look forward to reading about it, though im not surprised to hear its less sporty than the Alfa. VW needs to make a real driver's car. The current crop isnt good enough in this respect.

For sure the best cars come out of Europe, followed by Japan and a very distant last America, where they make "joke cars". Still, I appreciate humour

I have to agree with Menu, Germany and Italy are the best.
The Germans for the engineering, and the Italians for the desirability of their cars.

Stef, I cant believe you didnt mention Porsche !!

Menu:

Jensen is a small British car maker that has now gone bankrupt. Theres a thread about their most recent car in the "other cars" forum

cheers,
jay

Who would have an XJ220 over a GT2 or 3?
