The painting of the interior has been completed, just a few small details to finish here such as seat belts, foot pedals, speedometer display.
I colour matched the brown for the leather interior by eye, primary colours are all you need. It actually turned out darker than I expected but I was happy with the end result.  For the embossed Ferrari emblems on the headrests, I didn't like the look of just gluing the photoetched pieces on (I'm using the Lion Roar set here), so I opted to use them as masks with a contrasting shade of the base colour instead. The colour was lightened with white and a touch more yellow, then a small patch airbrushed where required. The etched emblem was tacked in place with the smallest dab of contact adhesive so that it could be peeled off then attached to the next part.   All parts of the interior were then given a wash coat of a dark brown oil paints to add depth and shading. Once dry, a lighter shade was dry brushed on to accentuate the highlights. The pic below shows a before and after for this treatment. The effect is very subtle and does not show up very well in the pictures. All parts were then given a coat acrylic satin to seal the finish.    The steering wheel has been modified quite a lot from the standard part. The control stalks were 'machined' from plastic rod in a motor tool.        Etched grills have been added at the locations of speakers.  The brake light detail has been made with a slither of clear red sprue.     Currently working on the engine, if any of you have any good reference pics then I would be grateful if you can help me out.
