Well i've been very busy the last few days and have not been here as i've been doing a few models.
Heres a few pics of the CLK.
It's gone together really well so far. Only thing is the back fire wall does not sit down to well. I had to glue it and tape it down and put some weight on it to get it to sit down.
The roll cage is great but takes a bit of getting it just right.
There is a lot of "flex" in the chassis too.

Just got the wheels to scrub up to get the mold lines off, then start polishing up the body with compound and wax then apply the decals and then little bits to finish up.

Here's the body after painting

Another thing to watch out for that caught me out was that the tyres and rims are different sizes.(Not by much)
After swearing away about stupid wheels looking funny and not fitting...it clicked on me...DOH

The paint is as awesome as ever Warren, you really give Tamiya a good name in that regard!

You mean the front wheels and tires are smaller than the rear, right? The NSX's are like that: 17" wheels in front, 18" in back.

Sorry....i mean in width...the back are about 1mm wider, hard to notice untill you start getting tyres on.

The decals are easy. Most will go on nice flat surfaces.

The decals have been very straight forwand to get on.
Just the final polish up of the body...spoiler/mirrors to get on and hopefully get some finished pics up soon before i'm away for a few days.

I didn't think of it at the time, but the NSX tyres are like that, too. In scale, they're 205 in front, 225 in back.
