Valucraft Rotors and pads

I wasn't sure wether to post in Cutlass or Ciera, but i have a 1996 olds cutlass ciera with a 3.1 L V6. The brakes were grinding on both front sides and beforehand the wear sensor was audible.

Soo i bought new valucraft pads and rotors, they were the cheapest they had. But i was reading up a little on them and some people have said there were reliability and stopping issues.. Anyone have any input on that?

Thumbs down Re: Valucraft Rotors and pads

Yeah, cheap is cheap. Don't expect satisfactory performance for very long.

Thats the truth Max. In less than a year there will be excess lateral runout and bad squeeling/squeaking. BTDT. I've even had bad luck with Autozone's Duralast brand. Now the Raybestos brand is top notch.
