Mustang v6 Turbocharged

I have a 2008 v6 mustang and I was looking at putting a turbocharger in it but I am not sure if it is dangerous or not. Could someone let me know if it would blow my engine or make any problems for me? Thank you.

Re: Mustang v6 Turbocharged

If the miles are low enough and you buy a turbo designed for your engine there should be no problems as long as you don't over do it and follow the instructions on installation and use. I also know that I wouldn't buy a Mustang with a aftermarket turbo installed because too often the previous owner abuses it and ruins the engine. It really depends on why you want the turbo. Some extra power to get on the highway, great. Constant drag racing, look for a new engine soon.
