Stanza Vacuum Hoses
I need to know where 2 hoses go on a 90 Stanza. The first is the hose from the top of the trany. Second and most important is the small hose that comes off the top of the saucer shaped part on top of the fuel canister located near the master cylinder.
I would appreciate any one that has a 90 Stanza just to look at their car and follow the lines Thank you. |

if the hose comes off of the transmission it is just a breather, point it down off the front or back, so moisture cant get in, but air can get out when the fluid expands as it warms up. the other hose coming off the top of the charcol canister is your purge valve line. it goes to a t fitting just under the back side of the distributor. there is a metal line that is bent facing the drivers side of the car (there are a few grouped together runing along the engine), this comes for the solenoidm and should supply vacuum to your valve via the hose that is unplugged. if you would like i have a few pictures of my 92 ka24e i can email you.
