Re: help with buying first car... civic vs integra
I would say integra seeing as how I have one and love it to death. Go with what your heart is set on man, because if you buy a car pending on what other people think, chances are you wont like it as much as you would a car you picked out. Some Integra Motivation below

IMO there are just too many damn hondas period nowadays', but you can never get enough of a good thing I guess. Speaking as someone that has owned both a Civic and now an Integra I say it depends... The integra is a little nicer with more options and Vtec option from the factory but a little heavier. The civic is a little lighter (and usually cheaper) and thay is why SOOO many people swap Vtec motors into them (me included). So to sum up what could be one hell of a long post I say decide what the future of the car will be, if you want to be a racer the civic will be a better canidate. if you want a nicer honda and don't want to race balls to the wall then get the integra cuase you will enjoy it more. just my My old '95 Civic w/ SiR II and my current '92 GS-R with the same motor p.s. with the Civic I ran a best of 14.20 @99mph, with the same motor and setup on the integra minus the weight reduction I ran a best of 14.70 @94 mph so there you have it. |

Re: help with buying first car... civic vs integra
I am a die hard integra fan, but the B16 is a great power plant. If you go with a civic, I suggest a hatch. You can get one for dirt cheap and have a B16 (99' 00' civic SI motor) droped in it. You will beat most LS, GS, and RS integra's stock, but if you prefer the sleek style to the integra more, well nuf said...............................fISH
