ccmtek smart remote help

i have a 2002 vw gti 1.8t

i have purchased a ccmtek smart remote system from ecstuning.com. i followed thier installation instructions and now i am trying to adapt the remote. it says that you do a little song and dance and the key fob light will blink twice and it did. but when i take the fob out of the range of the antennas the vehicle doesnt lock and thus it doesnt do what it says its suppose to.

i cant figure it out and i really dont want to return it. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

has anyone ever installed one of these before and if so what dcan i do to make it work.

heres a link to the product-

Re: ccmtek smart remote help

I can't really give technical advice to aftermarket stuff, but I never recommend installing any type of remote start or security system on a vw. The factory modules don't get along well with aftermarket stuff...

wow this forum just so quiet. i used google to here ....
because i have purchased a ccmtek keyless entry system also.

my ride is a 2008 Jetta and the keyless entry was with simple obd cable harness, there's no wiring harness like ecstuning's version.

the problem is i am not able to get my windows closure as the obd cable harness has no windows wire, it came with 3 wires only.

the whole sys. works fine till today (15 days already), evey time when i approaching the car, doors opend, quiet sensitive
