loud screeching noise on starting

car : toyota corolla '95

Problem : I am getting a loud screeching noise from the front
whenever I make turns on starting after a long rest and goes away after few minutes of driving.

any ideas ?? something needs a change ??

p.s: I changed front brake pads couple of months back.

Check your power steering.

Make sure the power steering reservoir has enough fluid.

Also check your power steeering belt for wear, it might need to be replaced.

Once this areas are checked, you can bleed the system by slowly turning left all the way, then right all the way.

If neither of this works, then you may need a new power steering pump..
