Why can't they just leave that part of the car alone and keep it in the shape of regular circle?

I guess they made the wheel oval to make it all F-1 like.....I dunno i think that would get kinda annoying.....but then again ive never driven a car with an oval steering wheel.....

didnt mercedes say that they were going to make the steering wheel on the production car circular? The roadster and coupe that have so far been used for magazine testing etc. have been confirmed as concepts, and that parts of them will differ to the final production models

As Pennzoil GT-R has stated, the SLR that everyone is seeing now isn't exactly the same as the one that will become the production version, but it will be closely similar to the concept.

Re: The info on SLR
Hello,
I stumbled accross the last version of the SLR in Brussels, Belgium, the Stirling Moss version. Wow, what a beast, it is very original. I really liked it, here are some pics: http://authomobilia.blogspot.com/201...ling-moss.html See you soon, auTHOMobilia
