truck starting by itself
I just got a truck with a "directed automate" alarm and auto start, the truck keeps starting at 1:17am, so I took the battery out of the remote thingy, last night the truck started again, I looked at the "programming my key fob" on line, so i tried it, no luck. can anyone help?

Re: truck starting by itself
I know the explanation since I got a remote starter.
You truck may be programmed to start when the temp is below a specific value at specific interval of time. What is temp outside? Which remote starter brand? The solution is to program your receiver with the remote control. To know which button press, you need the pdf manual of the remote. Cause each brand and model are different. Meanwhile, you can turn off your engine with the start or stop button of the remote control when you ear your engine. Or, turn off the switch below the dashboard. But it'll don't start if you start it from remote.
