Help!

While a sand pile was in my front yard, rough winds blew sand all over mine and my brother's cars-I've tried to wash my car twice now and the sand will not come off. Are there any products or home remedies that will take the sand off without stripping the paint? Thank you!

I suspect that if you look closer, the "sand" you're trying to wash off isn't sand, it's little nicks in the paint. Take a look at the glass on the side of the car facing the sand pile....is the glass nicked too? Compare the side facing the sand pile to the other side of the car. See the difference? Had the same thing happen to my then new car once in a wind storm. Insurance paid for a new paint job.
