2016 top strut nut
Hey everyone, Looking for some advice, I bought some Eibach lowering springs, for my 2016 Altima, went to install them last Saturday. Everything was going fine, got the strut out, spring compressed and went to remove the nut at the top of the strut to remove the spring and it would not budge. Tried just about everything to break it free. Couldn't get it. Put everything back together and here I am. Trying to figure out how to get it off. Has anyone had a similar issue? Everything I've seen/watched it looks like they got it off with ease. Any advice?

Re: 2016 top strut nut
Leave tension on the spring..not a ton, but tension will help the center shaft from free spinning.
