98 Volvo Common Problems + TIPS!
I've owned my S70 for a while now, it has over 180k miles on it and runs like new. So here are some common things to look out for:
Engine Mount Bushing: The top torque mount on the firewall ontop of the engine has a bushing inside the metal frame that the engine sits in. That bushing goes bad over time. A design flaw. Buy one online that is built tougher and get that sucker fixed. Gas Door: This model has a locking gas door and sometime that latch will fail. Have it opened by a mechanic and replace those parts! ABS Module: The ABS in this car LOVES to go bad. Honestly, replacements are 100s of dollars. Just gowithout. You'll be buying a new one anyway! Door Lock Actuator: When a door locks, it uses an actuator to determine variables. These go bad overtime and just need replacing! For more info visit the channel in my signature
