300d water leeking problem
I have a leek in my 84300D. everytime it rains water pools up on the floor behind the passenger seat. I cannot find the source of the leek. This same problem is common with other w-123's. Does anyony else have this problem? If so, any solutions?
thanks! Greg. |

300d leak
This is a classic 123 issue with drain channels. Most likely from the sunroof, in this case. Open your sunroof, and if you look very carefully you should find a drain channel on each side that drains along the front or back corners down through the body. Unclog that and water stops building up in the channel and dripping at your feet.

Hello, I was wondering if you ever found what the cause of the leak was? I have been chasing down the same thing, pool of water, rear passenger side floor, every time it rains, I'm going crazy trying to stop this. Please post if you found anything. Thanks-----Paul

Use an air hose, not a coathanger. Put the nozzle of the hose on the drain, wrap a rag or towel around it to prevent blowback, and purge the drains. We do it here. works good.
