Highway ride

I know the 4 runner is primarily an off road vehicle. But how does it ride on the highway at 65 or 70 mph? It looks comparable to my 1998 Chevy s10 blazer
I once had. That rode nice. I am looking around for another suv and considering
the 4 runner. I like toyota’s reputation for quality and longevity. Looking forward to any feedback you guys have. Thank you

Re: Highway ride

A good part of its ride depends on the tires. Also, how much pressure you run in them. There is probably a significant difference between the various Generations. I have a Gen 3 (2000 SR5) and I drive it on the highway a lot. It is a little stiff, but I don't mind it.

Re: Highway ride

If ride is the main concern, look at a Highlander.

Re: Highway ride

You are right about Toyota quality and longevity. My dad still has his Toyota Corolla 1995 and it didn't need that many repairs for over 20 years. Good choice.
