all lights work but low beams???

2005 CR-V got parking lights, and high beams, no low beams?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

5.3, 4:10 limited slip, 16.5mpg w/245-75-16....15ish mpg w/285-75-16. I recently averaged 16.9mpg on a roadtrip averaging 70mph. (Miles and speed are correct via GPS) More pictures in members gallery.

I have the exact same problem. Did you figure out what was wrong with yours? We can't afford to take ours into the dealership right now so I've been having to leave to make it home before dark.

Our 2002 Honda CR-V had same low beam headlight issues…

Wife was driving, heard a small pop, and both low beam lights went out this time.
New bulbs were no help. All other lights work fine, fuses and relays okay.


Check the dimmer switch block connector. Found corrosion in mine that had shorted out the connector. Cleaning connections solved problem.

This also may be the root cause of excessive bulb failures. Our CR-V did not start blowing bulbs till this year, after 4 years of ownership. The dimmer switch is a low current switch that really just turns on the relays for the headlights. Increased resistance in the block connector and pins may have been the root cause all along.
