Final 2006 Supercross Results

I see James Stewart won the final round 16 of this years SX. And Ricky Carmichael wins the overall SX Championship again. It was an interesting year.

This was the first year all bikes were 450cc thumpers indicating the further demise of the 250cc two-stroke in MX.

Discussion?

Even Stewart had to give up the 2-stoke sooner or later. As for the placing, it looks to be about what I expected. Damn Charmichael had to switch from Honda to Makita Suzuki but w/e...I'm still a fan.

Yeah once Kawasaki came out with a decent 450cc four stroke. But he's a good rider even though he is on the Green Team.

I noticed Windham hasn't been doing too good lately. We'll see how he does in outdoor MX.

I guess with Carmichael money talks.

Yes, unfortunately money does talk when it comes to Carmichael. And I can't wait for outdoor motocross to get started. For me, its just more entertaining. I'm impressed with Stewart's riding. That's quite a switch over to go from a KX 125 to a Kx 450. Honda needs to get another super power that can really compete with Stewart and Ricky IMO but I'm not sure there is anyone out there that can do it right now.
