Won't start after bearing replacement
Hi,
Replaced the wheel bearings on my son's 2000 SL2 4cyl, non ABS. Put everything together without a problem. Tried to start it after and it won't turn over. Sounds like it wants to start, and there's a bit of exhaust smell. What do you guys think I missed? I thought that maybe the driveaxles were pulled out of the differential, and made an attempt with the wheels on to push them in better by pushing on the axle from under the car. Maybe, I need to let off the hub nut and drive the driveaxles in with a hammer? Or maybe I'm missing something else? Thanks for any ideas. Jai
