Re: 1/12 Tamiya Porsche 935 with SMS detail set
Just got this kit and it is realy BIG scale.
@robrex: your's glass part in kit, do they have a stripe in the middle in front windshield and wired stripes on other big glassy part? I don't like that in my kit. |

WOW!! Looks great until now! Great job with the tires (one of the best I've seen) and great detailing in the engine.
I have this kit on the shelf, and all your work will be an important reference for me. Keep on working on it.

Re: 1/12 Tamiya Porsche 935 with SMS detail set
Dear Rob,
this is spectacular work. I try to say it as decent as possible but i think this is one of those threads this forum might be intended for. I have a smile on my face when reading your posts and looking at your work because pure pleasure and fun are screaming out of every digital bit! Your skills are superb. From my point of view your way of dealing materials and instruments is reference class, you also go that step further with your incredible weathering technics and solutions for showing realistic surfaces and rough / used / heat worn components such as the muffler..... Thanks for taking us with you on a trip through the 7th dimension of (car)modelling. Take your time with this reference built! Yours Jochen |

here's the almost finished dash. I made the glass out of thermaform as previously shown in my 312T build. The tacho has real needles which were made from watch hands. I also finished the pedal assembly Here's the rest of the interior progress Thanks again for following this build

An oustanding modelling work, all us know the SMS set, but the weathering and details you made it places this in other dimension. Well done!
