Re: Cayman Interseries | German and Swiss modelers building Cayman racecars
One of the most memorable liveries in sports car prototype racing history will return to high-speed life this season in the Cayman Interseries when debuting driver Lori Cassling unveils a 2010 Porsche Cayman S sporting the exact paint scheme of the famous No. 23 "Pink Pig" Porsche 917/20 that raced at Le Mans in 1971.

Re: Cayman Interseries | German and Swiss modelers building Cayman racecars
I saw those Sunoco and Rothmans Porsche's on the lot today. Small world. That Porsche dealer is a few blocks from Continental Autosports, the Ferrari dealer we will be holding Ferrari Expo 2010 at next weekend.
The Porsche dealer is right next to Chicago Lamborghini. Ogden Avenue is dream car avenue!! Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2010 model/photo contest-Chicago April 24th 2010 |

Re: Cayman Interseries | German and Swiss modelers building Cayman racecars
Hello guys,
I have some progress for you to view. Body painted and decaled, ready for clearcoat. A friend of mine printed the decals with his OKI / ALPS printer. Took some tries to get the blue right I'll try to have the clearcoat on this week, weather permitting (lame excuse for not doing it: "there have been volcanic ashes in the atmosphere") Hope you like it... |

Outstanding job, Seb
I never saw you painting and decalling a model-body so accurate. Hope your clear goes on well
