Question GM keyless entry

I want to disconnect the keyless entry on my 1992 Buick Roadmaster. I'm tired of finding my car unlocked in the parking lot, or having my trunk open unexpectedly. Any ideas on how to do this?

Ditch the transmitter and get a regular keychain?

I did ditch the transmitter, but that doesn't keep someone else's transmitter from opening my car. I was staying at a hotel and drove by a late-model GM SUV as the owner was opening his rear hatch. The trunk on my Buick popped open.

Re: GM keyless entry

Umm, that shouldent happen...

a)the trunk isnt supposed to open unless your in Park
b)someone elses transmitter shouldnt affect you...

I think there is a fuse for the keyless entry
