as the b15 sentra has roller rockers, are you aware of any other sr20 motor in another car that also share roller rockers? (primera/g20/etc)
if so, any idea where i might find the lift/duration of these cams? Thanks (aren't i a PITA!) |

i did see that, but no really what i was looking for. may call clark @ jwt. see if he has any ideas. if they just had the ecu ready, cams w/b out the door and a peiced together turbo kit would be my project. maybe in a year or so. then again, i could always retrofit since i live in a no emissions state. Thanks anyway...

What do you mean by cams w/b? You can't use the old non-roller cams in the roller motors. I think some guy in south america tried it and it ran like shiet. JWT is working on a set for the newer motors though.
JWT doesn't have the 99+ ecu's ready yet. ETA end of year The G20 came with a rocker roller motor starting 2000 model and over. Mines a 99 and has the non-roller rocker motor. |

JWT doesn't have the 99+ ecu's ready yet. ETA end of year depending...you know their schedule The G20 came with a rocker roller motor starting 2000 model and over. Mines a 99 and has the non-roller rocker motor. As did the 2k sentra se's. (same engine ) i guess i need to work on how i word things. what i was mainly asking was is there a sr20 from japan that has/had rollers prior to the 2000 year production. if so, i wonder what the cams are like and if a swap from one of the rollers would be beneficial. i didn't mean from non roller to roller...from roller to roller. take for instance the non roller sr20's. the b14's would benefit more from a 91 intake cam vs. stock b14 intake cam. this is what i'm looking for, except from a roller to a roller. (not thinking about 91 cams in the roller car, just an example.) hope this makes more sense. :frog: |

Yeah now that you describe that...I see! And yes that would be something to look into.
