New aluminum XKR spied

If I am correct, the next XKR will be the world's only high-performance car, based on an existing one (the new X150 XK), to weigh less than the car it replaces (the 1999-2006 XKR).

The next XKR will likely be shown at this year's Paris Motor Show in September.

This car is recognized by the altered front end, which does not have a horizontal chrome bar through the center of the grille, and four big exhaust pipes peeking out from behind. It also features a rear spoiler.

The next XKR will have a 4.2 liter V-8 with at least 400 hp.

At the Nürburgring

The light by the rear fender makes it look bigger than usual. Also, the taillights on the trunk appear camouflaged.
