Best Tires?
02 Frontier SC Crewcab Long Bed, still has the not so good BF Goodrich's on, but first owner neglected to rotate tires and all 4 tires are cupped pretty bad,,on the prowl for some new tires. In my experience with cars, I've found Michelin to be the absolute best. Any advice opinions for the best truck tire??
here is how i rank em so far 1-michelin 2-Good Year 3?? |

Tires
Depends on what you want them for.
Straight street driving? Performance street? Light off-road? Serious Off Road? Need more info! :o) |

Re: Best Tires?
I'd personally rank it:
1. Continental Conti Trac 2. Michelin 3. Firestone

Re: Best Tires?
If that truck is a 4x4 I would check out the Bridgestone Dueler.
I had the Dueler AT on my blazer. They were pretty quiet (for an AT tire), good for all weather, and they lasted forever. (over 50,000 miles, rotating every 5,000) I now have a 2001 Frontier and went with the Dueler AT Revo this time. This is a very aggressive tire that is unreal in mud and snow. I barely put it in 4 wheel anymore. The tire doesn't hydroplane even though they are wide. They are wearing very well, still looks like half the tread if left with over 25,000 miles. The only draw back is that the have hurt my fuel ecomony a little. But the Revo is one badass tire!! |

Dueler AT Revo
Gotta agree with this tire choice. I put a set on my Expedition, and they made it like I had a whole new truck! (Yes, I'm one of the weird ones who took my Expedition and got it muddy from time to time!) And as mentioned, these were the best rain tire I've ever put on a vehicle.
I just bought my Frontier, but those tires are what will go on when the OEM's wear out! |

Tires?
Hey Guys,
I'm in the look for some new tires for my '02 nissan frontier xe crew cab. I really have my heart set on BFGoodrich All Terrains, and I would like to put 31/10.50-15's on it. Does anyone know if these will fit? I had a '95 explorer and I put 31/10.50's on it and they fit no problem. I assume they will fit the frontier, but I don't know. Any help would be great. If not the 31/10.50's then what size? I'd like to go as big as possible without a lift. Thanks |
