How about a Jazz diesel?
I'd like to see a jazz diesel! It would get about 50 mpg. Next time fuel shoots up, they will sell a ton of them. Are you listening Ford, GM, Chrysler?

Re: Whoa
ew looks like a new version of those 86 4-door civic hatches, almost like a 4d si hatch without the power or sleekness

Re: Whoa
Most seem to have missed the point of the Jazz. Find me another supermini that offers as much interior space. You won't, simple as that.

Yahoo UK article:

Re: Whoa
31city/38highway? There are civics that make better gas mileage then that! I just changed my mind, Honda dropped the ball on this one.
The only thing it’s got going for it is the $13,000 for the base model price as well as the “cute” factor. I’m really disappointed with Honda on this one. I was really looking for something that had an EPA in the 40’s! Last edited by alfonso2501; 01-26-2006 at 07:00 PM. |

Re: Whoa
Wow, this piece of typical Honda trash has been out for at least five minutes and someone hasn't tried to swap a B16 or K20 in yet?

Re: Whoa
I didnt really like the look of these from the pictures, but after seeing them in person and driving them, they are really growing on me. 109hp/106tq isnt bad for this car. I work as a tech for a Honda dealer, so when these first came in, they were an instant hit. 3 of the 5 we got were sold before they even got PDI'd. Of course they were the sport model.
Kinda cool all the seat configurations you can do with the Fit! |

Re: Whoa
Saw one in person this weekend. The 'Sport' seats are pretty comfortable.
It's a tiny car but then again it's meant to be an econobox. Although I'm sure some kiddies are going to 'rice' the heck out of them, for the rest of us these seem like a great little commute/ errand car. The tall interior accomodated me just fine (6' XL). The trick rear seat is simple and useful. I expect to see that feature in future cars. If you look at the engine....well, my first thought was "What lawnmower did that come out of?" It's hard to believe that such a small powerplant can deliver so well. The acceleration is good enough for about town driving, but you had better not mess with a real 'Sport' car out on the freeway. My only beef is that it doesn't option a factory moonroof or panorama roof. I can't wait to see the safety tests from IIHS.org or safercar.gov. This little Honda may outdo the upcoming VW Golf which will be based on the A3 platform.......maybe.
