1991 Silverado fuse question
I did a search on my specific problem and can't seem to find answer.
My dad has a 1991 Silverado with a 350 engine and the horn quit working. I'm going to check the ohm reading on the horn and also check it for corroded connections and a good ground. Is there anything else I should be looking for? Can anyone tell me if this truck has a fuse specifically for the horn and where the fuse would be located? Or, does the fuse cover several electrical items on the truck? Also, I'm reading posts about newer Silverado's that have two horns on them. Does the 91 have two, or just one? Thanks for your help. Dad bought this truck brand new and it still looks new and only has 50,000 miles on it and he wants to keep everything in working order. |

Re: 1991 Silverado fuse question
This out of my '88 C/K manual. Should be the same for your '91. Yes, it should have 2 horns. It also has a horn relay that is in the Convenience Center to the right of the Park Brake pedal. System is powered by the 20a Park Lamp fuse.
