Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
mmm, i thought the silver ghost was the one they silver plated anmd did the endurance test with. the rest were just ghosts, but were mistakenly referred to as silver ghosts because the first silver one was made famous. anyway i saw it somewhere.
end to agree i see most cars as "less produced" rather than really rare. race cars are all rare (f1 and WRC) but there are heaps of them every year so i don't tend to count them. if there were only a couple of hundred made then i guess a car is rare, unless it was like a couple of hndred in that color with that badge, and 100,000 of the body...

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
I went to my sister's house today and 5 mins into my journey, a silver Gallardo comes round a round about. then 2 mins later a Diablo in superfly yellow with matching yellow wheels comes tearing down the road....think it was the SV, sounded beautiful.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
Once I saw this guy in a saleen convertible, and I asked if I could have his car... he said no, but at least he did a burnout for me.

Re: whats the rarest car you've seen on the street?
When somebody mensions another car like testarossa, i remember that i have seen it too. I actually have seen almost every car listed on this forum. Its cause i live in a town where we have almost every car dealership you can think of. Seen a bada$$ baby blue hammer with 24" spinning rims and the only colors on the car were chrome and baby blue. By the way i live in ATL

I cant say that vipers and ferraris are all that rare when were comparing them to truely rare cars.
I have to say the yellow Lotus Esprit TT I saw one day, I would much rather have one then a ferrari or lambo simply because Ive only seen one yet I see ferraris and lambos somewhat frequently, like maybe once a month, but Ive only seen and esprit that one time. I used to own a Bricklin SV1, there were only 2500 made, about 1500 estimated to still be around, and i bet about 80-90% of them either are in California or the New York/Canada area, so having one in NC was a pretty rare car. I never saw another one in person before. |
