The fastest I've ever driven is about 130 in my 87 Celica. It scared the livin sh!t outta me! I was racin a couple friends, one friend's CRX topped out a 100, and the other kids car passed me. I believe he topped out a 140. I never did that again!
The fastest I've done in my Mitsubishi Spyder is 105, it had more room to go but I had enough. I didn't want to risks wrecking it or killing myself, I had just bought it. |

:o80-90-100, those are daily crusing speeds for me when driving around the nations capitol, but anything faster then that is very risky. State Troopers are hard pressed to catch "speeders" especially at night and when it's even remotly warm. Thats in fact due to all those bastard copy-cat kids who think they're auditioning for the next Fast & Furious
However there are ways around this, and my top speed has been around 140ish on my 1996 Avalon @ around 4000rpm in 4th, before i ran out of road, and i've yet to try and max since. My 2000 i've only taken up to 127 just because it feels so floaty and out of control at anything over 120mph. |

As I see you're Irish, I've a question for you BMW-hamman : are your speed limits in mph or in kmh ? I'm not sure... even if i went in this beautiful country 6 or 7 years ago. Belfast was ot the best, but the rest was beautiful, nice country, but I'm not a fan of the Guinness

You put an Irish flag in your profile
Indonesia is wonderfull, my godfather worked there for TotalFinaElf for about 6 years. Speed limits in Germany are indeed quite smart, overall on the highways Come here to say hello when you'll be in Paris

Total Fina Elf? .. is that an oil company? ... .. When i was in German (Munich and Hamburg) .. I took the taxi from airport to hotel .. the taxi was an old E class (1989 maybe) diesel non turbo and the suspension almost give I think .. but the driver ran it 160 kmh on the autobahn and felt ok ... coz the autobahn was so smooth .. so amazing .. .. I had a French Customer but they gave up a year ago .. I tried to contacted but nobody answers the phone ... If they still active for sure I'll be visit Paris too .. This time I only went to German, Spain, Italy, and USA .. suppose to be in Shanghai now but I cancelled it ... u know .. bcoz of the virus .. that's why I can post tonight .. and thank u for your kindness .. TotalFinaElf is one of the main oil company in the world
160kmh, it's not fast on an highway (i don't know the Indonesian highways though ). But in France, you can also drive untill 160 without problems with the radars. This virus is quite dangerous
