Wink Things you do to "Get in the mood..."

LOL! The title is cracking me up! I'm funny!

Anywho... What kinds of things do you guys do to get yourselves pumped up and excited about your next model?

I can think of two things I do:

1. I mentioned this in my NSX thread: I have my screensaver set to scroll through pictures of cars. While I'm doing a kit, I usually change the settings to show me only the model I'm working on.

2. I fire up the PlayStation and put in GT and "buy" the car in the color I want. Or, in GT2 (don't know yet if this is available in GT3), I go find a race that the computer might use the car in, and watch a "movie" of the race. I restart the movie until the car shoes up in the color I like, then just let it run on its own for hours...

Any other bright ideas?

I surf the net for pics of the models made by others, hence finding Lau Bak's site etc.
That is the best way of getting me in the mood! Looking through Tamiya's catalogue is also good!

Then I will search the net for research pics, maybe even test drive the car if I can get away with it!

This forum is the best way of keeping me enthusied though!

I'll try some funny models to get in mood. Look this dino was 1/35. I could have 6 parts and about 7cm in length.
Sometimes building tiny things can have fun!

I haven't worked on a model for several weeks now. I need some type of inspiration to get me started again. All of my homework is weighting me down. I have to read a 400 page book by the end of November.
