Formula for "Zenith Blue" Volkswagen paint?

Hi,
I'm working on a Tamiya Volkswagen Beetle (item 24136), and I need help finding a paint mix.

Tamiya includes a nice chart of color options for their 1966 model kit, and what paint ratios to use to mix a given color. Sadly, the paint I want to duplicate was only used on the 1967 and 1968 models!

Does anyone have instructions for any bug model that includes the formula for "Zenith Blue"?

For reference: it is VW color L639 Zenith Blue, and an example can be found here:

Any other suggestions?

Will

Maybe Tamiya AS5 Light Blue with a gloss coat.

I'll look into that today! I'm also considering finding matching touch-up paint, but I'm wondering if that will have solvents that will melt my car.

I would also suggest going to MCW . I got two exact paints from there for a 1956 VW Bus I'm doing. Of course, always use an automotive primer under these lacquer paints.

The VW paints are all available but are a special order. Look at the bottom of this page.

My local NAPA auto parts mixes spray cans for me all the time. I use Plasticote T235 Grey Sandable Primer under them with no issues.
