12C Can-Am Edition coming to Pebble Beach!
I'm thin on details at the moment, but this looks like yet another cool chapter in the 12C story.
McLaren shared these shots on their Facebook page - see the entire gallery here: McLaren Automotive - 12C Can-Am Edition >8^) ER Last edited by Peloton25; 08-15-2012 at 02:07 AM. |

That's a proper GT3 though - not the uncorked and unbound Can-Am Edition.

The text stats it's the 'normal' GT3, but the picture looks like the Can Am minus the large rear wing.
Any info on the main differences between the 2?

Re: 12C Can-Am Edition coming to Pebble Beach!
Much refined aerodynamics, significantly less weight, more power - really all the things you'd want to be better in a track car. Essentially take the 12C GT3 - toss the rule book out the window and throw all of McLaren's & CRG's knowledge and expertise at it - that's the 12C Can Am Edition.
I wasn't taking notes at Pebble and would imagine the press release spells things out a bit clearer than I have. >8^) ER. |
