is it worth fixing *HELP*

i own a 96 jag xj 6
bought it for 500 bucks, has a few things wrong with it.
car is in decent shape 60k miles on it. new tires, new brakes body has minor scratches.
brought it to my mechanic and he gave me the following results.
*Needs the following*
1. egr sensor
2. throttle body plate
3. engine pipe has a crack
4. needs new ignition coils and spark plugs.

Ultimately the price is gonna cost me 2,300 dollars to fix.
I really love this car and it would kill me to junk it.
The car itself is only worth 2-3.5k
its my first car and would like different opinions on what I should do.
should I put money into it, or should I sell the beauty.
