intake install ques.
Quick question... theres 2 "holes" coming from the intake pipe , I know one connects to the valve cover with a tube, but theres another smaller one about 3 inchs from the large one, whats that for? Also , the intake came with a round piece of rubber, does that go on the side of the pipe with the filter , or does it go on the side that connects to the fuel injection...
thanks |

Did yours come with 2 tubes or just 1?? The smaller one is a vacuum of some sort. When you pulled off your old box, you would of took off the tube that goes onto the smaller hole.
Second, the rubber piece that came with it goes on the fuel injection side. Before you take off in your car, make sure you unplug your battery for a few minutes. So it can reset its computer, because of the fact that you will have more air coming through. 92Accord92 |

The little tube hole is for the vacuum line, the larger hose goes to the engine. Mine didn't come with the smaller hose so I had to go and get a little hose for it since the stock vacuum hose was a little short. The round rubber piece goes to the throttle body. You don't need the a rubber piece where the cone hooks to the intake pipe since the cone has rubber on it and is held on by the adjustable metal ring.
