I like the idea of hydrogen, but mainly for internal combustion engines. There are hydrogen vehicles that use fuel cells to create electric power.

BMW had an internal combustion 7-series that ran on Hydrogen. I think that would be easier to implement, since consumers might be more willing to go with the more familiar internal combustion setup. In addition, I'd imagine that enthusiasts might still be able to tune and race such setups using the same basic procedures as gas powered cars.

The only thing that bars any practical application of hydrogen in any form is:

Alot of these units are using pure hydrogen gas.

You even see the Hindenbeg?

And some use liquid hydrogen...

...so that fender bender just took out 8 city blocks.

"Oh but we'll have safety system this, carbon fiber tank that...."

Bottom line: I don't want the tards of this world driving around with hydrogen in the back.
