99 2 Door Tahoe - Hot Air Under Steering Column

Hello All,

I purchased a 99 2 Door Tahoe about 5 months ago. I noticed that when I open either the driver side or passenger side window an airflow is created that sends hot air at my feet on the driver side. It seems like it is coming directly from beneath the steering column from a gap going to under the hood. When I close the windows it still occurs but it's not as strong or hot. The air conditioner and heater work just fine in all positions so I think it's more of a possible insulation issue. I took it to a Chevy dealership and they said they couldn't find anything wrong but they obviously didn't drive it. Has anyone else had this issue? I've searched numerous threads and can't find anyone with a related issue.

Thanks,

Andy

Look under the hood fire wall driver side there should be rubber seals on the fire wall where wires/steering stuff passes threw....................IF you have no idea what I am indicating go find another tahoe and take pictures then compare to yours..

if these are missing scrap yard for parts..
