1993accord main /fuel pumprelay
:help: can anyone tell me EXACTLEY wher the main/fuel pump relay is located under the dash by the fuse box and what are the colors of the relay and the connecter. I am haveing trouble finding it. I belive it is bad and not allowing power to get to the fuel pump. I have no fuel at all at the fuel rail

This is a question for your trusty Helms manual. If you don't have a tech. manual for your car, I highly recommend getting your hands on one. If you can't get yourself a Helms (hell even I don't know where to find one), you can settle for a Haynes manual. This will suffice for the simpler questions, like this one.

Well I dont know if this helps...
I had the same problem on my 91 honda accord. but it was the Main relaym behind the alternator,.. not the fuel pump relay. Aparently it's a VERY common issue with the 4th gen cars.. if you take it to the dealer they can do it for you as long as you make sure you tell them exactly what is wrong... I got taken for a ride... when they replaced the alternator and stuff before they figured out it was the Main Relay. |
