Hmmm... cars I've "raped"... I drive a 96 Dodge Grand Caravan, 3.3L. Ballsy in it's own right, but I don't win many races. Only one that I revel in, and that's a mid 90's civic that appeared stock except for a 3 ft park bench that he called a spoiler bolted to his hatchback. I smoked that piece of trash in a 1/4 mile street race between two traffic lights... poor SOB.

Off topic question... do you people that put those huge spoilers on the back of a FWD car really expect great improvements in traction? YOUR DRIVE WHEELS ARE ON THE OTHER END OF THE CAR! Stop telling me it's "for performance, not looks." You're covering your ass cuz everybody's laughing at you.

It's a 74. Way you can tell is the split rear bumper, only year they did that.

I stumbled onto this stupid thread by accident, but LOL, this guys a clown. A 1999 Z28 Auto will run 13.2's@106 and has a top end of 157+ MPH. This guys list is hogwash. The autos are faster in the 1/4 than the sticks too basically.

The 99 Z28 is the same car as my 2001 SS minus the hood scoop and a few minor things. My 2001 auto SS runs consistent 13.1@107 with only a K/N filter and and air lid. I've seen 155 mph with this car.

No stock pre '99 Mustang GT could run with my car. A Z28 SHOULD be faster, but that all depends on the driver. Like I said before, I outran an LS1 Trans Am once, so it all depends on the situation.

P.S. 13.2 is pretty fast for a stock auto Z28.

First off, near stock...an auto LS1 F body is consistently faster than the 6 speed in the 1/4, the 6 just can't launch.

My 01 SS has ran a best of 13.0@107.59, and it clicks off consistent 13.1's all day, hot or cold. ONLY mods are a lid and filter. The Z28 will run near the same as my SS they are essentially the same car minus ram air and slightly different rear gearing. A trans Am is slightly heavier due to excess crap on it, but they run near the same times too.
