Is about purchase time

Ok. My fiance and I have been looking for a new daily driver. Our short list came down to the 300M, Bonneville SSEi and the Accord EX. It looks like we are going to go with the Accord. Although I wish it had more power like the others, overall it will be better for us. In negotiations with the dealer, the price is now $24,200. I think its pretty close to a fair price for a 2002 model. Anyone think I can get him much lower?

You probably could. You can always make them haggle more. It might depend on, what type of engine? If it's the V6 model, I think their MSRP is 23,000. So I don't think he would want to go under that. Who knows!
Give it a shot.

Kbb.com reports the invoice price at 22,700 as the invoice for a 2001. Add the 400 destination and a few hundred for it being a 2002 and the invoice is probably around 23.5K give or take. Add in the 3% holdback so there is haggle room. Its just that hondas sell so well, that its hard to get a lot out of some dealers. But, I'm certainly going to try some more.

Thanks

btw its the EX model which is the decked out V6 version.
