Protar Ferrari 156/85 Complete

Finished this one up over the weekend pretty much out of box build not the greatest kit some fit problems but fun to build. The paint was Tamiya TS-8 italian red I added photo etched rivets to the chassis, crazy modeler photo etched seat belt hardware, and the emergency cable in he roll bar.

Thanks for looking

Great looking build! The added rivet details and radiator stencil make a big difference. Built this one about a year or so ago. How did you get your engine cover to stay on? Mine doesn't fit at all.

I sanded the inside of the engine cover it with 320 grit paper and test fitted it along the way also sanded the back of the mono when I got it to fit good I took off a little more for primer and paint build up. It still wasn't perfect after the paint so I used the 3m two sided tape on both sides to hold it in place.

Beautiful model! Looks good with the added rivets.
Nice to see such a well done 1/24 F1. You donīt see those old Protar kits very often.

Hi

Very nice model indeed! Love the seat. Has it been covered with Hiro cloth? Looks very good.
