Academy 1/24 Hyundai Pony1, Santa Fe, Grandeur HG(Azera)

Hi guys,
I made it recently.
We completed 3 types released by Korean maker'Academy'.
Among them, it is the most recently released'Pony 1'. It is known as'Pony Mk.1' abroad.
It was born in 1975 as a unique model car of Korean technology.
The engine and chassis belong to Mitsubishi, but it was loved as a national car in Korea's difficult economy.
The car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign.
This'Pony 1'was the car that was loved the most by Koreans.
It was produced as an early and late model for 10 years until 1985.
This is a 1/24 new mold kit. Korean modelers love it so much that I would have bought more than one for memories in any family.
There is also a female figure of the same scale. The quality is good.
Overseas exports may be delayed due to the maker's license, so the price in Korea is about US$22.7.
I hope you have a good impression.

Pony1: Finisher's Maroon+Little Pure Black, Urethane Clear, Polished work.
Santafe: Finisher's Rossi Blue, Urethane Clear, Polished work.
Grandeur: Finisher's Chocolate+MR.hobby Coper+Mr.hobby Metalic Red, Urethane Clear, Polished work.

Box Art.

It's not important for production,
There is an error in the box art, Pony's'y' is using the successor model, Pony2's'y'.
Pony1's'y' should be more curly.
Also, the hyundai logo is not the old 'HD'.

santa fe
The suspension is lowered by 1.5mm.

granduer hg(azera)
This kit can't be steered because the shaft rod is front and rear.
The suspension is lowered by 1mm.

Photo Etching and metal stickers were used for'pony 1'.
It was produced by an individual in Korea, but the quality is much better than the company.
For the front grill, you can choose between the earlier and later types of lattice and slit shapes.
If you use the included jig, the slit shape can be expressed down at an angle of 15 degrees.
It is a prototype, but it seems that the 1400cc displacement number will be added or the emblem of'GLS' will be progressed later.

Wow, superb achievements even if the subjects are not really my cup of tea.

Love the Pony though, I didn't even know Academy released it.

Beautiful models. In the first pictures the poor little Pony looks like 1:32 model. I hope the kit will be available in Europe soon, together with PE parts. For some reasons these classic cars from 60.-70. are more appealing to me than modern supercars.
