Pulsing Brakes on Normal stop
Lately my Yukon brakes have been pulsing at the end of a stop - the last 20 or 30 feet on a normal stop. I feel it in the pedal. The GM dealer wants to replace both hub sensors - does that seem right, especially at $225 each plus labor? It is not warped rotors and definitely feels liek it is part of the anti lock system.
By the way, if it is the hub sensors, is it a DIY job and can I get them cheaper some where? Thanks for any insight. |

Re: Pulsing Brakes on Normal stop
What year is this, there is a common problem with the sensors corroding at their mounting point in the front bearing hubs, there was a recall on this issue for trucks sold in nothern areas of the country. Also get used to posting the year of your truck in the future, it saves us making unnecessary requests during this process.

Check with the dealer on the recall issue.
